So glad I found your newsletter. Scavenger’s Reign looks fantastic. I love the the Moebius comic style. It also reminds me of the work of another comic artist Simon Roy.
I’m always looking for some cool sci-fi inspiration, so thank you.
Thanks for the kind words! Having previewed the series, it's super unique and fascinating -- we're happy that we could raise a little more awareness about it.
Just started Scavenger's Reign the other day and it really does feel like an independent project!! The style, the way it breaths and feels like a nature doc - truly incredible that they were able to keep that spirit throughout the whole process.
So true. Hoping that it manages to develop a cult following. It deserves to be seen, but there was a lot of radio-silence in its marketing for the past year, and a press embargo from Warner until about a week before it came out. Not that abnormal for a streaming show, but this one really could've used a longer-term hype campaign by Warner, to let people know just how unique and different it is. With luck, word of mouth will do the rest -- it's such an impressive show!
This newsletter is absolutely the best thing ever, keep it up!
Thank you so much -- we're honored!

This scavenger series and the links provided... so much to delight in.
We got the chance to preview Scavengers and it's exciting stuff -- hoping that it gets some notice when it comes out. Glad you liked the issue!

That's such a bummer! I saw it was charting in the top 10 recently on Max so hopefully people are still finding it despite the challenges!
The salvaged CalArts story excites the lost media fanatic in me.
It's pretty amazing that someone took the time to save these -- a major win for history.
