Really happy it was a help. And absolutely -- these are hard times not just politically, but for animation. There are a lot of problems to confront and fix from here.
This newsletter is a blessing, and a constant resource for my creatively-dry ass. I empathize with your message and look forward to jumping back in on Sunday. We’re counting the good things in life after Tuesday, and this is one of them
Thank you -- this is a really wonderful thing to read, especially right now. We're going to keep sharing this work and trying to get people inspired. The world needs art!
Thank you very much for this post. I joined substack specifically to follow a couple of political and law writers and things of that nature as we trudged toward election day, but even back then, news was difficult and I wanted to follow a few subjects that bring me joy. I create art and music and occasional little animations as a hobby and to keep me sane, and I love all things animation. You've introduced me to new things, expanded on things I've always loved, and remind me weekly that there is more to life than these foolish people and all the harm they wish to cause. So thank you again.
I am so surprised that you cannot see this line you wrote: ‘about the suffering of the poor and the inevitable downfall of the corrupt and powerful’ as why Trump won the election so soundly.
This was helpful to read… gutted not only about the political state but Scavengers Reign being cancelled.

Needed this today. Thank you.
Glad it helped a little. We’re all figuring our way through this right now — it’s tough, for sure.

Thank you for this -- it means so much to read. We're really happy that we can offer a bright spot in the midst of everything going on.
Thank you so much for this post and reminder.
Glad to share it. There's a long road ahead from here, but we can't give in to despair.

I have personally never loved America more than I do now.
I'm with you. Personally I've never felt more hopeful about the future of the creative fields
