It's really cool -- an effect everybody knows and yet few people can name (including us, until very recently). Amazing to discover Kon's thoughts about the way that giving something lines makes it feel more alive, whether it moves or not.
I watched Tokyo Godfathers for the first time last year when I was looking for new holiday/ Christmas stuff to watch - and it's now added to the queue of annual viewing.
